Depression Era Acoustic Lap Steel Guitar ‘30’s Floral Motif Painted on Front This one has ladder bracing and had separations between the front, back and sides. It was re-glued with TBII to far exceed the original bonding available back in the day. Now, it should have a renewed and longer lifetime. Generally, we find a lot of these depression era guitars to be dressed-up lower end instruments. Uniquely cool looking, fun to play, but built to be affordable during a time when money was tight. However, when rebuilt using advanced tech we end up with some great utilitarian retro instruments. The floral motif adds to it’s retro appearance. It now has a new bridge & water-buffalo horn nut. High string set lends itself well to slide. It’s got good tone, nice features for a retro look and modern reworking that should give it a new lease on a long life. This came without a case & that's how we're offing it. However, we do have good sources for whatever type of case one might like. *Please see our other listings and store for many other Vintage (Lap Steel) Guitars and Amplifiers.
